This is the real Peter Burian, famous Berliner socialite and world traveler, ca 1962.
In the 1980s a male model from the San Francisco and Los Angeles area (as I understood it), changed his name to Peter Burian, but later changed it back, after I pointed out to him that there really was a Peter Burian in Europe.
