This photo of the new, not yet completed wall from the right side of
the Brandenburg Gate conveys the absolute desolation of the East side
of the wall. This is the mood and "feel" of the East sector at this time. Sheer, utter desolation.
The photo was taken from the west side, but within the danger zone, too close to the east border for the comfort of the East sector.
