These two Juilliard programs show that I played tuba as a member of the Juilliard First Orchestra under my conducting teacher Jean Morel for two years, from 1954, when I entered Juilliard, until this program of the school's graduation ceremonies in 1956. I am listed in the list of the orchestra's members on the back page of the program, which is opposite the first page of the program.
Nothing at all was manipulated in this scan of the original program. Hence the discoloration and slight fading of the text of the program is preserved in these scans.
