Domino, famous female impersonator
This photo of the female impersonator "Domino" was made on large
9x12cm film, which is the equivalent to modern 4"x5" format.
The lens used was a classic German soft-focus lens "Plasmat Satz"
controllable soft focus lens. The lens was used at one of its least
soft-focus settings and focused with a Messraster focusing device for
large format cameras.
Even though there is no hardness to the detailing, the detail is
spectacular and seldom achieved even with a normal lens.
