Women in uniform were much more commonplace in East Germany, here in
East Berlin, that most other non-Communist countries. In that, the Communists may have been ahead of us.
But the women were not all that friendly, as these show.
BTW, I used a reverse tele lens, which is a super-wide angle lens. It
stuck out in front of the camera like a long telephoto lens, so these
people thought I was photographing the official building behind them,
and did not know they were in the picture. Photographing people in
uniform was forbidden in Communist East Berlin back then.
