Onoe Baiko, the most famous Japanese pantomime of the day, at the
International Pantomime festival in Berlin. He is, of course, a man,
which was the custom.
At the time, in the early 1960s, Onoe Baiko was said to be the first
such Japanese artist to travel and perform outside of Japan.
