Phillip
Phillip had a marvelous face. I needed a model for my comparison photos for Messraster focus accuracy (see the comparison photos here
and in the Messraster section), and he was it! Phillip had an amazingly symmetrical face, when viewed from the front, which was perfect for
the comparison photos.
However, Phillip was extremely expressive, and his expressions
included many that, while emotionally deep are also reticent in
manner, as in this photo. So, in addition to the comparison photos
I did photos of him alone and also did a "lovers" series, pairing him
with a more aggressive woman, whose features and manner were a
perfect-looking match for him yet quite different from the usual man
and woman photos of that era.
