In one of the great scenes in modern theater, a parody of the Faust Garden Scene, Arturo Ui (Hitler) courts Frau Dollfeet (Dolfuss' wife), Gretchen, while Givola (Mephistopheles) distracts Dolfeet (Dolfuss).

The play Arturo Ui is a wondrous combination of hilarious parody and absolute cold-blooded horror.
