The Berlin Hilton director on horseback

The Berlin Hilton Hotel was beginning to age and lose appeal. So a new director was brought in to run it. And I was assigned to a reporter to do a reportage for a German Magazine.

That director turned out to be dud, as far as photographing was concerned. Almost lifeless. Someone remembered that the director loved horses, so a horse was brought to the hotel and I got a sensational photo of the director riding it.

President Nixon showed up for a Berlin visit just while I was taking the photos, and he graciously agreed to pose for the reportage. This photo is in the World Leaders section
