Polish Pantomime
This magnificent character "gets" me, moves me beyond words, every time I see it.
Not only is the photo somehow just right, but the character is
perfect: the sweet, holy-servant-of-God angle and attitude of the
body, even while holding that large instrument; the flow of his hair;
the sack-cloth type clothing; and the magnificently loving, adoring,
and devoted expression of the wonderful face (check it out with a
magnifier), all add up to one of the many such vignettes, characters
and scenes in this extraordinarily moving art work.
